Further Clarification on the Kirk thing.

Now I'm not saying that there's anything WRONG with being Kirk....but I have to say that I am not convinced that he is as good a Starship Captain as he is cracked up to be. He even admitted that he cheated on the Kobiyashi Maru test,and Frankly Spock seems to bail him out and cover for him A LOT, while he's off philandering and playing it fast and loose. Not criticising the guy, but if i was Spock, I'd feel a bit put upon...and frankly I think the crew notice it.. Jean Luc Picard...now there's a man you can respect. Hell of a Starship captain, but unbeleivably stuck at the rank of captain...frankly I think there's politics involved. Kirk made admiral for god's sake...promoted to a desk out of harms way I think.... he trashed the enterprise TWICE!!!! Now having said that, if I was going on a Rotterdam pub crawl...Kirk would be the one I'd take with me. If however I had a Starship needing captaining...it would be Picard hands down. Of course that is only if I was restricted to those two...I mean Worf would be handy to have around on the pub crawl if things got a bit tasty on the bar fight front. I possibly am getting a bit too hung up on this....i'd invite Scotty and Checkov aswell, but McCoy (argumentative bastard) can just f**k off....andyou just KNOW that Sulu is going to make his excuses and head over to the gay district..... but I digress...

Clarification

	In the previous entry I was merely pretending to be captain Kirk....I am not ACTUALLY Captain Kirk....nor do I beleive in a delusional way that I AM Captain Kirk.

It's Number 1 ...

In a "because it's here" sort of way, I feel I should write in my blog...and make it my bloglog... Captains bloglog, stardate...something. What is a stardate anyway, and why does it have to differ from any other kind of date? Couldn't it just be "the date"...? Would make Startrek seem far more accessable... Captains log, 28th of July, 2433, Saturday morning, entered the horsehead nebula. Had a bacon roll with some nice floury baps that luitenant Uhura makes. Yum! Things to do: Change cat litter tray Be seduced by pointy titted alien Fight reptilian creature Buy milk Must remember to buy an innappropriate gift for Spock's birthday so as to continue to poke and probe at him to be more human in a flagrant display of disrespect for his desire to honour his Vulcan heritage. There...that seems suitably random to begin with anyway.
